WELCOME TO BLOODY HPV
Finding out you have an HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) infection can be scary.
Sometimes it can make us feel lonely and scared, because we don't really know what will happen to us and how we will have to deal with it.
Questions are many, often crowding the mind and not making us live peacefully.
This is precisely one of the reasons why, in collaboration with top gynecologists, the BLOODY HPV project was born.
The place for women who want to face the path to recovery from Human Papilloma Virus without anxiety and stress. Â
Within the Bloody HPV project, in fact, we help you understand what is happening to you step by step both biologically and psychologically. You will thus overcome the fear and confusion that often accompany the discovery of HPV infection.

My name is Roberta Corti, I am a biologist specializing in testing for Gynecology-Obstetrics and a woman who has had a bad experience with HPV in the past.
HPV infection has negatively affected my life:
- not only from a BIOLOGICAL point of view, in that I had to have examinations, pap smears, colposcopies and biopsies, etc. for years...Â
- but also from a PSYCHOLOGICAL point of view, because HPV and its consequences are scary and leave after-effects in the heart and mind even for a long time
These were difficult times when I felt alone, afraid, confused and helpless.
Tune in each week to hear how others are leaning into what they love and following their passions to build a life of total fulfillment. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll finish each episode motivated to live life more authentically.
It was such an impactful experience, however, that at some point I decided that I had to do something to help all those women who, like me, would face the same journey.
So I devoted my work as a biologist to the in-depth study of all tests for cervical cancer prevention (Pap smear, Hpv test, biopsy, etc.) and worked as hard as I could to help gynecologists in this area.
In recent years, however, I realized that this was not enough: HPV not only touches you physically, but also involves you in the most personal sphere...the one that is perhaps the most fragile.
That's why, in this project, by my side is also a very dear friend of mine and very good psychologist,
Dr. Jessica Merenda.
Jessica in her work helps people to become aware of their bodies and minds so that they can better cope with every moment of life, thus learning to manage stress and emotions.Â
This project was born out of our great desire to help women who, like me, at some point in their lives, have found themselves in great difficulty when faced with this unwanted guest.
Defeating HPV is possible, and learning about it well is one of the secrets to eradicate it and living this journey with peace of mind and awareness.
That is why we have created this safe space within which you can find all the information you need to face this moment without anxiety and stress.
In fact, to heal from an illness, one must restore balance in both BODY and MIND.Â
Therefore, we need to work on 2 basic areas:
Biology
- Learn about the disease, how it works, tests, and possible treatments
- Getting to know our bodies well and understanding how they work
- Know how to recognize its changes
- Understanding what WE can do to bring ourselves back to health
Psychology
- Learning about the emotions we experience every day
- Knowing how to recognize them when they occur
- Understand how these affect our systems: nervous, endocrine, and immune
- Learning to manage the effects they have on our bodies
Because BODY and MIND are closely related to each other and influence each other.
That is why the Bloody HPV project was created precisely to provide you with the tools you need to overcome and live this time in your life to the fullest and accompany you in this process of re-balancing.Â
One step at a time, as we always say....
