We learned about the Ambrosoli Foundation some time ago from a gynecologist we know who had gone some time to treat women in this faraway place.
In fact, the foundation operates in Kalongo, Northern Uganda supporting the Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital, which since 1957 has been the only referral hospital for an extremely large and poor population, and the Midwifery School attached to it, a fundamental training and support facility for women in the area.
We felt it was important right away to be able to support with our project the midwives and women in this country as well, where the difficulties in health care are far greater than ours.
That is why.
WE WILL DONATE A PART OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THE BOOK "BLOODY HPV" PROPERLY TO THE AMBROSOLI FOUNDATION.
And thanks also to your contribution we will be able to secure the salary of a midwife in the prenatal clinic.
The midwives, in addition to assisting women through the pregnancy journey, also provide screening for HIV, hepatitis, and cervical cancer and are a really important referral point for all local women.
